rocky2log05 0 Posted May 16, 2007 We have 32 cameras hooked up to 2 dvr's. Basically, our problem is logging on to the the 2 dvr's remotely (outside the LAN) using a remote client and or a web browser, I think our router is properly configured since I can access the DVR from outside the LAN using a web browser, but when i try to login it keeps on saying 'login failed' it also happen using remote client. Accessing the DVR's from inside our LAN is working perfectly as it should be. Could you please help us. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Doug 0 Posted May 16, 2007 Is a Tibet Systems/Magic Radar/Isis/Eyemax etc system? Do you have the correct port ranges forwarded to the DVRs? You'll have to use a different range for the second DVR. Does the IP address for the DVRs match the router settings Is the "Network" box marked in user settings? Is the firewall configued properly? Are you using the same version client and server software, not all versions are compatable with each other. Doug We have 32 cameras hooked up to 2 dvr's. rocky2log05 0 Posted May 17, 2007 Doug, Its Eyemax DV-9480 The port ranges are correct. Yes the IP address matches the router settings even the private port. I believe firewall is configured correctly because I can see the web user interface when I access the dvr using a web browser, meaning the router is pointing me to the right ip address and port and the firewall is not blocking my request. The problem occurs when logging in before the video shows, it keeps on saying login failed. Yes Iam using the same version of client and server software. Web Interface and Client Software works perfectly inside the LAN. Thanks, Rocky
wisdum 0 Posted June 17, 2008 I have the same problem. Works fine on the inside, but doesn't on the outside. I forwarded port 80 for the web, it shows up fine, but won't authenticate, "Login has Failed."
garciaclanjr 0 Posted August 5, 2008 I have the same exact problem. I can get to the web page from the outside fine. But I can't seem to get any users logged in to remotely view the video. Same thing for the the remote client. No matter what I do, I always get "Login has failed". Help! TonyG
doyo 0 Posted August 6, 2008 Is the port forwarded to a single port or a range of ports?
