GEOVION TOOK OVER MY DESKTOP

I just installed Gevison 8.11 with GV-1120 card, window xp machine. I sense this is a simple problem but I am no able to solve it.

 

When I start the computer, Gevision autmatically load and take over the desktop. All my XP desktop icons are gone. Also, the window start icon wich leads to all probgrams, control panel etc is not visible. I suspect the geovision icons completely cover the window icon but I could not get it minimized.

 

Any help is appreciated. I need to have access to the xp fucntionality.

Hi, can you access the Geo Power button, bottom left?

If you can, click on that and it will pop up a menu which will let you minimize it, once you are logged in with Geo's admin privileges.

or try the "Z" key to minimize the geovision application

also try to click your keyboard 'windows' button (if you have one) to open the start menu.

You are running the Geovision app that blocks access to windows.

"Key lock" or something.

Sorry, cant remeber the name.

 

Log in, move mouse to bottom of screen, the geovision version of the taskbar will appear.

Click on options button, look for the option that reads something like "on startup show DESKTOP or GEOVISION"

Choose desktop and reboot.

I tried all the tricks to no avail. I have uninstalled it and re-install version 8.01 and everything seems okay for now. I will hold off on any upgrade for now.
