chhatton 0 Posted June 7, 2007 I have the following system to install and was hoping for some sensible advice on which camera products to use: Camera Relay of live theatre show to backstage dressing rooms and control rooms etc. Camera & Lens: Good quality Night/Day image as this needs to be usable when the stage is fully lit as well as to assist in blackouts. Camera position is 36ft (11m) from the front of the stage Stage is 31ft (9.5m) Wide Stage is 26ft (8m) Deep Auto Iris - servo driven? or CCD iris? Manual Focus? - I assume this would be best - please advise Illumination: Seperate IR illuminators - We have an IR assisted hearing system in the auditorium so we need to avoid splashing IR over the audience! Signal Distribution: Extron/Procon/Kramer Video DA's as required (CV over URM70) Monitors: Ag Neovo 15" & 17" Colour LCD Monitors (CV input) It is purely the camera & lens spec that I am interested in advice on... Good quality images, but not necessary to be broadcast quality! There will be no recording necessary.
