Havasu 0 Posted June 7, 2007 Hello all. Long Time Lurker. First time poster. I am looking for opinions from more experienced people than myself on this. I am looking for a decent 4 Channel DVR based system. My requirements that I am looking for is, DDNS Motion - Email Notification Web Browser capability - only if they have a static IP. <- Not mandatory if it doesn't have it. The one I currently am using is having issues with DDNS not keeping up. Let me hear your thoughts. I appreciate all your help in advance.

Havasu 0 Posted June 8, 2007 get a static IP -its $10 a month more here ! z It is about 30.00 a month more in Southern Cal and Arizona. They require you to be on a business plan. Also it is not so Much the DDNS as the DVR with Email Notification motion detection.

rory 0 Posted June 9, 2007 if you are on a tight budget, check out the AVtech 760, also sold as CPCam in North America, and other OEMs. As mentioned Linksys routers support DDNS, and I have been using the DynDns free service.
