snakeybeaver 0 Posted June 11, 2007 I have been trying to set up a CCTV system for some time now and i am just about there after having to replace the computer as the card would not work but its all up and running in my house and i have one last problem. When i try and connect to dvrnet i can connect after many days of messing with the ports but it will not see any moving video,i just get a black screen on all cameras. I have tried on a friends PC and the same problem and also from a different location,i have all the ports open that it lists in dvrnet,i am trying to connect with diginet. I have looked all over the net and cant find a solution,so really would appreciate any help and advice. Thankyou. Robert
snakeybeaver 0 Posted June 12, 2007 I have kinda solved my problem,i went to a friends house and his computer will connect ok and can see everything. This is a bit of a blow as i just got a new laptop which will connect but still will only see black screens where the image should be. The laptop is a pentium duo with sti graphics but is loaded with Vista,is it worth my loading it up with XP ? Or do i need to go get yet another machine,i have built a tower which also has the same problem can only see black screen, that was a AMD syatem with asrock all in one board. But that my mates old pentium will work fine no problem,if i have to get another syatem can you guys please give me some specs what i should go for ? Or is there some software to load on this laptop that will let drvnet see the image ? Many Thanks Robert
VST_Man 1 Posted June 12, 2007 goto display properties, settings, advance, troubleshoot...........and reduce your acceleration settings one "notch" at a time until the video displays.....then leave that setting as is.....
snakeybeaver 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Thanks for the info i really appreciate it as i spend some hours every day trying to sort this out.I cant change that option as its blacked out and says the graphics will not let me change it. Its ATI graphics which has its own control panel with a lot of settings,i have tried all the options in the and stil no luck,im gutted that i got this lap top thinking it would be fine to remote view my system but it not. Could it be that it has windows vista ? Many Thanks Robert
