rory 0 Posted June 11, 2007 If you are going to use these Cameras, with 24VAC, and you will be using a Distributed (multi channel) Power supply, make sure you purchase an ISOLATED Distributed Power Supply. Otherwise you may experience horizontal lines and other issues. If you use separate transformers there is no need for it as they are already isolated. The Correct Distributed Power Supply Model I just recently used on a job with 11 EX82's was the Altronix ALTV2416ULI3. The previous ALTV2416600UL3 will not work for these cameras. kao 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Do you think this could be true for other cameras as well? I am thinking of going with only isoloated channel power supplies in the future.
rory 0 Posted June 14, 2007 If you can find them, sure, for the Pro cameras. For the bullets I dont think its really worth it. Probably only for 24VAC also. The Isolated power supply above had to be special ordered as the distributor only had the regular one. Rory
