baywatch 1 Posted June 21, 2007 Hi We have an old GV800 16 camera system that we use as a loan. We have an error message on it that we cannot get rid of. c\gv800\database\pos20070620.mdb c\gv800\database\sys20070620.mdb The above are corupt & to use Jetcomp.exe to repair. I have tried the above without success, any help gratefully received as I am not that computer literate & must be doing something (or everything)wrong. Thanks in advance for any advice. rory 0 Posted June 21, 2007 did you use Repair Database tool? Also, copy them to a PC with MS Access installed and open each one separately, run Compact and Repair.
baywatch 1 Posted June 21, 2007 Thamks Rory It is also now saying "codec.dlls missing or corrupt, reinstall Geovision" What problems may I look for if I reinstall? Version 7.00 Thanks
rory 0 Posted June 21, 2007 uninstall .. remove all GEO files .. use my uninstaller program in the sticky if you like .. if you can afford to do so, remove all Geo files in the windows directory also. Remove drivers, reboot. Do a full scan on the hard drive. If it comes out okay, Reinstall drivers ... reload software. Are there any other errors with other software? Does the hard drive make alot of noise? Could the memory be bad? Could the hard drive be bad? Rory
