elenat 0 Posted June 25, 2007 More and more customers are interested in IP Solutions. Some even required pure IP systems (not with video servers). My options to give a solution are: 1) To have NVR (Network Video Recorder) software solution with IP cameras 2) To have IP cameras that come with client software My question is what's the difference? Why should someone buy a NVR if he can configure & manage his IP cameras through the client software?
VST_Man 1 Posted June 25, 2007 the biggest is the NVR has storage in the NVR and IP Client are dependant on network storage. and then the software is also going to be different. NVR tend to be feature loaded and IP Client is most times basic.
