dispenser 0 Posted July 2, 2007 I have a couple of color cameras, one of which is day/night. Will these still display on a black and white monitor? Thanks, PEZ
kensplace 0 Posted July 2, 2007 Yes, they should display fine, but obviously in black and white.
dispenser 0 Posted July 2, 2007 Then I guess my monitor is dead. Is there a way to view a Digital CCTV camera on a regular television set?
CollinR 0 Posted July 2, 2007 Depends on what you mean by "digital"... If the camera has a digital chip internally and connects with coaxial cable, yes. It should work with any composite video input. (RCA style AV hookups, typically yellow in color) If the camera connects with Cat5 using an RJ45 connector, you are probably out of luck. Some of the cameras basically have a balun inside, however most are ethernet cameras and don't transmit an analog signal at all.
