scorpion 0 Posted July 11, 2007 What is going on with 1.2Ghz? I know there has been some shifting in FCC freqs, and some auction sales. I tried to purchase 1.2Ghz receiver, and my dist has quit carrying these devices. Those of you who sale wholesale and have a receiver in stock would you be kind of enough to PM me. Thanks! rory 0 Posted July 11, 2007 I would use 5.8 over 1.2 anyway ..
scorpion 0 Posted July 11, 2007 I agree with you on that one. I have a customer with a 1.2 camera, and needs a rcvr.
rory 0 Posted July 11, 2007 oh ok .. Cop USA may still sell them. If not, a little pricey but VideoComm makes them still. http://www.videotransmitters.com/index.php?SCREEN=view_catalogue_level2&id=9&prod_ID=11 Most distributors can get you VideoComm. scorpion 0 Posted July 12, 2007 A member of our forum was gracious enough to provide me with a rcvr. Thank you SpyTown!
zmxtech 0 Posted July 12, 2007 but remember ! 1.2Ghz and 2.4Ghz are VERY common, rory is correct unless you want to broadcast over the "TV sender" band Even 5.8 is dodgy unless its got video inversion etc etc but it has a few years to catch up. z
scorpion 0 Posted July 14, 2007 Thanks for the heads up. I am aware of all of the limitations of privacy, and such, but then again I find customers that buy video extenders for the DVR monitor out so they can see it with another tv!!!!! Oh boy! What can you do? Educate! Educate! Educate! Pray that they listen! I guess the FCC finally got fed up with the 1.2 violation, and started enforcing the rules already on the books.
