photys 0 Posted July 12, 2007 Im moving from OEM to brandname cameras. I was thinking Bosch, but my market wont pay. I heard Samung Techwin got it right on some cams, wrong on others. So, any thoughts on the following? SDC-415 - for general usage (well known body cam, good bang for the buck I hear). SDN-550 - for a starter day/night with IR cut filter. SID-450 - for an indoor dome. SVD-4300 - for an IP66 outdoor dome. SVD-4120 - for an IP66 outdoor dome with WDR.

antdickens 0 Posted July 15, 2007 We use a lot of the svd4120's, sdn550's and the shc720's. They are great quality and haven't had a single failure. They are quite reasonably priced and customers like branded gear. We always put a copy of the pdf from the samsung website in with a quote which gives a clear breakdown of features

rory 0 Posted July 17, 2007 You will be very limited if you stick to just one brand. No brands in the industry make a decent camera for every application. You should vary it, go with the best camera for the application, this can be from Sanyo, Bosch, GE, etc, depends. None of them have an all around solution.
