securitymonster 0 Posted July 18, 2007 Have any of you guys used any type of medical alert system in an elderly home? I have a client looking for up to 26 rooms to be covered with wireless remotes that are permanently mounted, alerting them when somebody needs assistance. Whatcha got? rory 0 Posted July 19, 2007 did a couple when i was installing alarms .. simple 1 button wireless keyfob, can mount it, clip it on something (eg pocket, belt, etc), or wear around the neck ... tied into an alarm panel .. send emergency medical signal when they push it. scorpion 0 Posted July 19, 2007 I would assume that the keyfobs are all on the same channel, or did you zone each fob? How would they know what room to go to if a FOB was triggered? Did you have it programmed with voice? Thanks!
rory 0 Posted July 19, 2007 they are programmed as zones .. the alarm company has the zone list ..
CollinR 0 Posted July 19, 2007 In OK these are treated like lifesupport systems, you need a special license to install them and I would suggest a buttload of liability insurance. I won't touch them with a gopher pole!
