kensplace 0 Posted August 2, 2007 Yikes, Even there website is dead, they didnt even keep that up to inform customers about the news, and the steps people should take to file claims etc. Mind you, cant say Im suprised, even though they have been in business 20 years, in my opinion they had a really bad attitude when it came to support and customer care. I even emailed them and told them that there attitude was likely to lead to their downfall, or words to that effect, as they didnt care that they had ripped me off with false advertising, and that others would innovate whilst they stagnated with their closed loop secret systems, nor would they ever release any protocol details despite the fact I had a device I could not use without them, purchased on the strength of their false claims. I personally think the company got what it deserved, it acted like a dinosaur and it went extinct. Its just a shame for the poor workers, I hope they dont have to wait to long for their wages to be paid.... and also the customers who may never get their goods, and may never get a refund, even if they do, if they had a large order they could go under waiting for it to be paid back..... mcs 0 Posted August 4, 2007 Well how wil that affect the AU ooperations? I know for one that they talk samsung elec up to be better or the same as Techwin ! Someone spoke to a salesman recently and got BSitted to... typical
cctv_down_under 0 Posted August 6, 2007 It wont affect the AU operations at all, Ricky bought Baxall and then QR Sciences bought it (or probably some of it), I had been wondering why they were selling Samsung and Sanyo and Ganz as well as Baxall product, for a long time it made no sense to me as to why they would want to compete against their own product, but I guess Tricky Ricky knew the wrinting was on the wall with Baxall and was very smart about it. It wont affect them as they are not owned by Baxall, I dont think they will even need to change their name, however they wont be able to have as much margins now, and they will be no different to other non manufactoring wholesalers like Pacom. Baxall Australia are doing realy well, they wont be going anywhere, but if someone like Bosch decided that they wanted the market now...then as a manufactorer they could drop their prices and burn everyone...highly unlikely because oS buyers would then buy from AU. Oh well no more Ice Domes....thats life!
cctvbloke 0 Posted August 9, 2007 gentlemen, i have heard rumours that baxall uk will be back and much sooner than you think. Yeah Baxall AUS are doing well cos the gimps at Bosch and Pacom got infected with big company syndrome and there sh*t didnt stink anymore. Plus there service stunk too. Rick's spearheaded Pacoms launch into the AU market and he'll do the same with Baxall so I think Pacom need to start worrying they can't compete with prices and are too ****y to try. As for Bosch well if anyone walked in there they'd know what i mean. Anyway while we can lets put them all to the test...prices support and product we gotta make em work for our business and until now baxall au are the only ones that seem to appreciate it.....seem to anyway. Yeah bloody oath hope those ICE domes come back...
