Gyro Gearloose 0 Posted August 5, 2007 I'm looking for some good ideas in a nice bright service monitor that won't break the bank. Something easy to use on a ladder but large, sharp and bright enough to adjust a sharp focus.
rory 0 Posted August 5, 2007 To get a good focus you need at least a 9" monitor, and CRT not LCD. Otherwise there are a couple Focus Meters on the market, best bet is to search the forum for them, but they arent cheap. In that case you could then just use a small LCD to adjust the camera physically and use the Focus meter to adjust the focus.
scorpion 0 Posted August 6, 2007 I bought a 13 inch color TV from the store that uses a red bullseye in its logo for about $85.00. It has the composite input on the front of the TV. It takes some abuse, and keeps on ticking. I also use a 4" TFT hand held monitor that is rechargeable. It is difficult to use in some cases because of the bright sun. I love the portability of it. It is great for trouble shooting!!
