jeromephone 6 Posted August 8, 2007 I know i brought this up before and tried the fixes reccommened customer has 16 cam gv-800 system and when I playback video it appears to drop frames. all cameras are set to smart with a 9 frame per sec limit. I have tried setting the limit higher but still see the problem. The unit is in a parking structrue and it happens even when only a couple of cameras are active. I have checked to make sure no Audio is activated. DVR meets speck for video card type memory etc.

Arockerdude 0 Posted June 15, 2008 Can someone please explain why it is not good to have Geo in the first slot? Thanks Dave
kao 0 Posted June 27, 2008 I would turn off the smart setting and just crank up all the important cameras to the max. I had similar problems on some systems until I turned off the smart settings. Not really a fix, but perhaps a work around.

dcam 0 Posted July 2, 2008 As the playback comes from the hard drive ; try plugging in a USB hard drive , and change the file path, see if that works Do you have color + B/W cams. mixed, this can sometimes cause problems, also if you don't have any cameras on No.1 I believe that No. 1 PCI slot is generally used for video card , and mobo. manufactures sometimes make considerations for this, so it can on occasion cause a problem if the GV. card is in there

Or PCI-E, which is not a std PCI connector, so slot 1 has nothing to do with the video card..... I stand to be corrected..
