kensplace 0 Posted August 9, 2007 Pretty much any box camera that takes replacement lenses if you can fit it in a housing capable of fitting a pan tilt head or fit a mounting on, if you use a pan/tilt head and a zoom lens with a co-ax telemetry controller and co-ax telemetry receiver to control the head and the lens. The controller/receiver takes care of all the sending/decoding of the coax signals alongside the video, and controls the pan/tilt movement of the head, and the zoom/focus/iris etc of the lens, as well as auxillary functions such as wash/wipe/lights etc usually. aace 0 Posted August 9, 2007 What I was looking for was something like the spectra dome series. with a built in receiver.
rapid 0 Posted August 10, 2007 Panasonic uses up the coax control for their integrated dome cameras. I use Panasonic exclusively so check out the WV-CW964 for outdoor applications, and the CU161 dome controller for single camera operation.
