What add ons would you like to see on the Geo DVR system?

I'm considering creating new skins with our own custom buttons and menus and / or modified Geo menus .. along with the help of a professional graphic artist ..

 

Anyone got any ideas for add ons they would like to see on the Geo GUI?

Here are some ideas:

 

A nice short cut on the screen for tweaking video attributes that can be removed or added by user account would be great.

 

POS Icons that could maybe run in a pallete that could bring up the POS history. More icon driven then geo's, ie: 4 icons on the right hand side with "POS1", "POS2" etc. and when you click it it instant brings up the history for that interface.

 

 

The ability to have 5,6,7,8 as the quad view. Geo had needed this for a long time, the ability to live view 4 cameras other then 1-4 without the TV output.

 

That's all I can think of. If your app software is as good as your Livevue, it will be awesome.

You can get the Quad view to change by pressing the "Page Up" key.

 

It will change from 1/2/3/4 to 5/6/7/8 to 9/10/11/12 then 13/14/15/16

You can also just hit the quad view icon again, it will cycle though just like the page up key

I just tried click the quad icon more then once and it never changed. Hmmm. Anyone else try it?

thank you, that is something that CAN be added .. the other things they mentioned above .. is more on the SDK level as it involves the menu. Will look at this one though.
