smokkill 0 Posted August 24, 2007 I service a hospital that has several Pelco DX3100 DVR's. I have been sending them back to have drives replaced. With my last one, according to the pelco tech, each drive has an image loaded onto it (one image for a primary drive and one for a slave drive. I had him send me two new drives (one of each) so I could backup the image and start replacing the drives myself. How do I go about backing up the images. In an FDISK, these drives show non dos partitions. Any info regarding this would be appreciated.
Amadeus 0 Posted October 12, 2007 The DX3100 hard drives can be ordered with the images already on the drive. Although Pelco doesn't have an off the shelf part number for the drive with image. Contact service and repair, you can ship the drives back and they will add the image. More then likely without charging you. Next time you place a new order contact product support. they will make sure your drives come to you with an image installed.
