ahsoonbaby 0 Posted August 27, 2007 help !! what is difference between 104 IR camera and Infrared Illuminator
scorpion 0 Posted August 27, 2007 I am not sure what the 104 stands for. IR Cam: I would assume this is a camera with builtin IR LEDs so that you can see in the dark. Infrared Illuminator: This is the LED only. No camera! Do you have a better description of the Camera, and of the IR Illuminator? The title to your thread say Illuminator Cam. This is a camera with LEDs for seeing in the dark as well.

scorpion 0 Posted August 27, 2007 How far away from the camera is the area that you are watching? I believe the 6mm lens may be a mismatch if you are watching a distance from the camera. You may want to get a camera with a vari focal lens. This will allow you to select the right view to match the area you are watching. If you security needs were to change down the road the then the vari focal will make your camera more adaptable to meet any challenge.
