vladimire 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Hi everybody, I need to build a PC based DVR system from the scratch. I need 16 cameras and the capability to record 480 fps. From what I've read here, probably I would like to go with a hardware based H.264 compression card. Stability and quality of the video are of a great importance, along with ability to remotely monitor, of course. What card would you recommend? My budget is not fixed, I need to keep it reasonable though. Also, who can sell me the card recommended by you (I'm located in New York City)? Thanks in advance
evelynskyvision 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Maybe you can try the DS series card , the video qualtiy and stability is good ,used with the NBV6 or IDVR software support most functions that users need. There are some guys in the forum sell this card.
vladimire 0 Posted September 7, 2007 Would someone please PM me some prices? Looks like I'm mostly interested in DS-4016HCI. Thanks.
netdvr 0 Posted September 12, 2007 Actually, there are other choices, such as DS-4016HCSI & DS-4016HSI. I think the point is your expectation on the recording resolution.
