I am very new to IP Cameras and Network Video Server.

 

I want to know which IP Cameras are best?

 

And also wants to know that the IP Camera of any manufacturer can work with any manufacturers IP Camera Software?

the higher the mega pixel the better. I prefer Arecont followed by Axis

The best and the highest Megapixel, but not the cheapest, are Avigilon, CCD and up to 16 MP. Currently they only work with Avigilon servers.

I think no body can say we are best, cause technology always changing so fast. like mobile phone, like PC.

 

So, just can say if the camera has space for update, that is good enough.

Actually, the IP cameras that can match your requirements are the best.

 

As for the software, you have to keep in mind that one cannot work with any IP cameras of any manufacturer. But you can contact your software supplier, to ask them to integrate your desired IP cameras.

First I would need to know... What's your budget ?

 

If you get those better brands, e.g. pana, axis, etc, u can get third party software recorder that'll works with them.

You can try out LuxRiot DVR 1.2.22. I tested it, works quite well with Axis IP Cam.
