mkurtzhals 0 Posted September 12, 2007 We have a DVR device that connects 10 cameras. For some reason all of a sudden all of the odd numbered cameras would not show up. They eventually do show up but are very delayed. I tried switching the cameras to different numbers and just the evens work regardless of camera then the odd ones eventually show up. My first thought was somekind of network issue so I tried changing MTU settings on the DVR and still have no luck. Could it be just a bad DVR or do I have somekind of network issue. CCTV_Suppliers 0 Posted September 12, 2007 Do you see the same problem locally vs. remote connect?
mkurtzhals 0 Posted September 12, 2007 Nope on the local connection all the cameras are up and working.
mkurtzhals 0 Posted September 12, 2007 This is the same if I use wavereader or just directly connect via port 80 through a web browser.
CCTV_Suppliers 0 Posted September 12, 2007 Suggestion... get the updated version of the wavereader... I think it should be avail from GE Security website.. Unfortunately, looks like we can not post any links in this forum... Since you have the original version, I am sure you can get the updated version... Give it a try and let us know. mkurtzhals 0 Posted September 13, 2007 Yep tried updating the firmware. Is there somekind of config that says load these cameras first or something. If you plug one of the non-working cameras into a working cameras port the camera works just fine. Is this device just hosed?
