photys 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Im looking for tips on running hidden co-ax wiring in a home installation. The houses and villas here have small ducts running 230V cables to each electrical socket and light fixture. I read that running Co-ax through the electrical ducts would cause interference or ground loop. How do you guys do it?

scorpion 0 Posted September 16, 2007 What kind of construction is it? Do they have attics? Do they have basements? What kind of walls are they?
photys 0 Posted September 16, 2007 No attics. Very few have basements. All walls and ceilings are constructed of cinder block/foundation block (known as breeze blocks in UK) and plastered over. I have seen people gouge out tracks through the plaster and blocks, then plaster over.
rory 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Also look into Wire Molding, we use it alot down here. Its more decorative than Conduit.
