gar32 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Hi all, I have the avermedia 1304 Net DVR, I can view it over my LAN no problem but cant seem to view it over the internet. I have tried to port forward the remote port assigned which is 5555 to the static IP of the DVR (192.168.11.2) but when I try to connect to it over the net it just prompts me for my router login details. I have a static public IP address. Am i missing something here? Do I have to forward any other ports? The video port on the DVR is port 80. I have also tried to forward this in the NAT table to forward to my DVR but no joy. I'm using a Buffalo HP G54 wireless router. Any help appreciated!! CollinR 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Turn off remote admin on the router or forward port 8080 outside to port 80 inside and then connect using port 8080. Basically seeing the router config lets you know you got into your network.
gar32 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Yeah thanks for the reply. Problem is that I cant find any reference to remote management or anything similar on the router configuration. Head wrecking !!
CollinR 0 Posted September 20, 2007 It's the last option under WAN configuration. "Port number for web configuration" Change that to something other then 80.

It works fine within my network, but when i try to hit it over my dyndns.org domain, I get nothing. Any recommendations??
