port forwarding help n advises needed.....

i forwarded the ports, port 80, 8080, 9999, 18000 (UDP), 18082.....but strange thing is that i cant view it on my own internet explorer but outside my network i am able to do it. But only linksys router i am able to do it to view myself but other brands liked aztech, netgear etc i cant.....

 

Can anyone help?

Have a look at my site www.cctv4all.com I have done some guides based on the Netgear DG834G router on howto port forward

 

What DVR are you using also if you are on the same LAN make sure you are connecting via the LAN IP address also your firewall on your PC is not blocking the viewing software

thanks man, i disabled the firewall on the pc and the router. i am using a huperlab H2404s 04 channel dvr card. i stastic the ip to 192.168.1.200.

the strange thing is that when i used it on a linksys "G" router i can view my DVR be it local LAN or remote from my office but if i used another router liked netgear / aztech / Dlink i cant.

 

can advise?
