Daryl733 0 Posted September 23, 2007 Think you'll have to be more specific. Do you mean connecting your alarm system to AVC760 as a mean to trigger the recording ? Or Connecting the AVC760 to your alarm system to trigger alarm ? IMHO, it's better to seperate the 2 system. You either connect your alarm output to the sensor input of the AVC760 or the the AVC760 output to the sensor input of your alarm. AVC760 can set to trigger alarm during 1. Motion 2. Video Loss. So unless these are the events you want to sound your alarm, no point connecting them together. The motion are based on Video Motion. So there's a high percentage of false alarm due to changing image contrast, etc. If you want to connect your alarm system to trigger AVC760, unless your alarm goes off a dozen time a day (which i think shouldn't happen), your AVC760 won't be recording a lot of things. UNLESS... by "Alarm" you are refering to sensors input. In that case, refer to the manual for the wiring diagram. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
