gfdcxgfd 0 Posted September 24, 2007 Maybe its your video card? What kinda video card is it and what kinda DVR card is it? Also does your PC meet the minimum specs for the DVR card? This this fullscreen feature work before or is this the first time you are trying to use this feature. rory 0 Posted September 24, 2007 Direct Draw Overlay uses a dedicated part of video memory that belongs to that application alone. If the Video card cannot assign that memory for some reason or another, the application process will fail; in this case, black screen? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
rory 0 Posted September 24, 2007 On the DVR PC, goto Start, Run, and type in "DxDiag" Next, click the "Display" tab. Click the "Test Direct Draw" button. It will run a series of tests. If the full screen test fails then there is a problem. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Siiak 0 Posted September 26, 2007 I had a similar problem on one of the installs, what I did to solve it was donloaded the latest drivers for Geforce, and then after reboot, install the the latest directx from microsoft.
