oldhamuk 0 Posted October 1, 2007 I've got an AVTECH DVR and can't find the CD that had the documentation on. Does anybody have it they could send over as i'm trying to configure the detection alarms and I'm not sure what the three settings are and how to change the sensitivity. Thanks Mark

Daryl733 0 Posted October 2, 2007 Can anyone tell me, which model is the AVC760 is inside that manual ? Model 1/2/3/4/5 ??? They never specific properly. There's 2 harddisk matrix, each with very different recording time. Also, things to take note, AVC760 is not a true MPEG4 recorder. It only records at MPEG4 at CIF. When you record at FRAME, it's baically recording at MJPEG.

scorpion 0 Posted October 25, 2007 I do not have an answer for that question. I take it as a generic representation to cover all models to include any updated versions. I thought the manual covered the 760, 761, and the 782A? I like how my manuals have a picture of the DVR product, but it does not have the buttons drawn in!! Is there any difference between the AVTech manuals, and CPCam manuals??

Is there any difference between the AVTech manuals, and CPCam manuals?? Precisely. I think 760, 761 records in MJPEG in Frame resolution, MPEG4 in CIF resolution. http://www.avtech.com.tw/english/product_13_760.htm But 782A records in MPEG4 in both Resolution. http://www.avtech.com.tw/english/product_13_782a.htm There's 2 Tables for the harddisk recording timing in the manual. 1 with very short recording time for 500GB, 1 with longer. I presume 760/761 is the one with the shorter recording time one due to its recording in MJPEG. But I would like a comfirmation instead of just assuming. scorpion 0 Posted October 26, 2007 The 782A is off the same PC board as the 781. The 781 has the same 500GB 60 days. (4CH, CIF Best Quality, 30IPS) The 781/782A PC board is completely different then the 760/761 PC Board. The manual covers the 781 as well. http://www.avtech.com.tw/english/product_13_781.htm
Kiwi 0 Posted October 26, 2007 Would you happen to know the difference between the 782 and 782A? -Paul
scorpion 0 Posted October 26, 2007 I have no clue about the 782 / 782A difference. Model one is not even shown in the manual. It starts off with model 5, 2,3,and then 4. Model 1 and model 5 are the same. Model 1 does not have IR port(remote control), and 5 has the IR port. Model 1, and 3 are the same. The difference is the audio in/out. Models 2, and 4 are the same. Model 2 does not have the IR port, model 4 does have the IR port. The audio in/out is different between the two. Has anyone manually put in a drive? http://us.liteonit.com/us/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=160&Itemid=67 http://us.liteonit.com/us/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=160&Itemid=67&limit=1&limitstart=
