AVCONSULTING 0 Posted September 29, 2004 I know I've seen someone list this DVR before but can't find the message. It claims 120 fps but is that really true? Any other comments on the performance and also the remote viewing would be appreciated. http://surveillanceoutfitters.com/product.asp?productid=
CCTVINSTALLER 0 Posted September 29, 2004 AV, thats a argus DVR: www.sys-tek.co.kr, we've only started using it recently, so i haven't got much feedback, except to say ive found the remote feature very easy to set up, and for the price, its one of the best. i can tell you though if you're buying it for $849, thats extremely expensive, round here that dvr is around $349 (£200) without a HDD. rory 0 Posted September 29, 2004 120pps in low resolution mode. Ive seen them around in different names, and used one down here recently, cheap is all I can say. I would take the Ikagami over this one, $450 from Spytown, or step up to a better DVR like the StoreSafe for $1200
CCTVINSTALLER 0 Posted September 29, 2004 Rory, found this link in one of my mags, check out the spec, ive seen lot of companies advertising this dvr for "real-time casino monitoring" http://www.ultracker.com/products.htm hope this helps
rory 0 Posted September 29, 2004 Yeah I got the pricing and specs on all of them, but none have audio. 480fps recording is not in high resolution mode, only low res mode. They have some good specs, I was interested in the 9100A version, but like i said, no audio, wont work for my jobs as the majority of my clients want audio, even just 1 channel recording at least. Other problem is you cant just buy 1 DVR at a time. Dont know who would use it for Casino Recording in the US at least, as the Casinos there generally stick with well known brands which all now have real time recording units designed for casinos. Eg. Ultrack. Id like to try one of those 9100A DVRs though
cctv_down_under 0 Posted September 29, 2004 Rory, yo keep saying you cant get only one DVR, I have never seen a manufactorer that will not give 1 as a sample, but if you have to pay too much tax then this makes sense
rory 0 Posted September 29, 2004 EDITED: Actually my bad, just looked over their pricing again, they do sell in different quantities, different prices. 1-5, 10+, etc. this is one of the few that have offered it to me like this, means they want to sell. But still, no audio.
