I've tried numerous DVRs, and it seem that lately there has been an increasing amount of system troubles from DVRs. Speco, I've had 2 in the past month that have had a bleed over effect from one port to another. Arm Electronics and Everfocus, I'll never buy any of their stuff again. I was surprised about Ganz, I found that they are very user friendly, with an excellent graphics display and reliable hardware. I was wondering if any of you are starting to have problems with the current flow of DVRs, and which ones you would suggest avoiding. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SV 0 Posted April 16, 2008 I have had terrible experience with ALL Arm products. Ended up swapping out all Arm cameras 2 times for same 16 cam install. As for Everfocus; I have had a few bad DVRs lately from them. One bad mobile unit and a 16ch with loose bnc connectors in the rear. Also FYI: Everfocus has a different definition for Pelco-P protocal. Dont try to hook up a Panasonic PTZ to an Everfocus DVR. Had good luck with Speco DVRs so far also better picture quality.
