8.12 viewlog avi save bug

Didn't know where else to get help on this. Using 8.12 software, in the viewlog, when trying to save the avi file, open the destination directory, create a new folder, but you can't type or rename the folder or files.

 

Could someone else see if the bug is on thier system too.

 

I can use the default new folder name and go back later in my computer and change it.

 

Wanted to get some confirmation before looking for a place to report the bug.

I have passed this on to GeoVision. I shall post back as and when I get a answer.

GeoVision have advised me that this is the normal behavior

 

They advise that because some users may not have the privilege to write to other locations, they have made it a global default that you can only create a new folder, but not rename the folder or files.

One would think though, as far as privileges go, that if you can create a folder, you can also name it?
