scorpion 0 Posted October 19, 2007 I will have to find a manual on line for your DVR. I doubt that it will support ddns, but I will find out when I get a chance. The linksys routers supports ddns. You may want to wait for others to chime in on this thread as I am not a network guru.
mesallem 0 Posted October 19, 2007 ya i dont think it supports it either, but what i am asking is can i run it through a desktop?
photys 0 Posted October 19, 2007 The problem: your networks WAN IP must be kept up to date. Solutions: An app running on your computer, (ie. No-IP DUC) Built in facility in the router, (DDNS setting) Built in faculity in the DVR.
scorpion 0 Posted October 19, 2007 ftp://ftp.swann.com.au/manuals/manuals_old/8_16DVRNetPLUSv2.pdf Your DVR does not support ddns. You will have to use a router that supports ddns.
