eyespye.security 0 Posted October 24, 2007 Folks, I'd like your expert opinion on which wireless system to use. We're going with the following: =GV/HP DVR =6 Sanyo DN with Rainbow Lens =Outdoor housing with HB =Some type of 900Mhz Wireless system to minimize interference I would like a suggestion for a wireless system that can go about 1000 feet, with a few power poles and relatively no trees. Thanks in advance.
VST_Man 1 Posted October 25, 2007 take a look at outdoor IP PTZ's....you may reduce the total number of cams.
cctvmeister 0 Posted October 26, 2007 Simple, it contain 12 bands in max from 900 to 1200MHz, 6 cameras ok without interference each other. Enlarge power capacity of transimitter and receiver to reach more if law permitting.

user1 0 Posted November 5, 2007 Go with wireless IP and dump the rest. I have Axis 211w's running over 1000 feet with some cheap directional antennas and extenders. Also forget the DVR and go with intelligent software that you can reap the benefits down the road. Looks like you're a supplier so you can also reap maintenance fees.
