SWITCH TO CCTV ON CALL FROM GATE

I Have searched throughout this site and haven't found a close solution to this, although I know it is probably simple. I have a customer with a gate and a call box. When someone pulls up to the gate, he wants the televisions in the house to go the the camera inside the call box. My question is: What device can I use to switch the signal from cable to cctv when motion is detected at the call box? I have thought about actually rewiring an A/B switch and a time delay relay.

I do not know your product list, and I do not know what protocal you have, or plan to use, and what kind of wire is between the gate, and the residence.

Check out viking electronics they have all kinds of hardware solutions for gate entry and I think they have a device that turns on the cctv from the gate

Most tele/call boxes have a outbound trigger for lock activation ( usally star key on phone..dependent on your device) use the inbound trigger relay to activate cam, dvr...etc then modulate to a dedicated channel on your tv if its digital there are work arounds, really better off with dedicated cam always on, mod to a channel, dvr motion detect on the gate if record is needed, less devices simple for end user..if its auto jump to channel on motion detect from a motion sensor at the call box then its a lot more complex (home controllers/X-10 etc.. but possible here are some solutions www.csi3.com/ and http://www.csi3.com/app_11.pdf
