Networking for Kodicom KSR-6 & 7 Series

Hello,

I am a total amateur at this. I have set up 5 camera's around the house and am using the Kodicom KSR-6 & 7 series machine to digitaly record and also connect to a TV.

 

I now want to connect it to my PC so I can view the live images from any PC connected to the internet.

 

I am not very PC literate, so please explain using small words and non-technical jargon.

 

I am assuming I connect CAT 5 cable from the back of the Kodicom, to the back of my broadband router at my PC. But I am even unsure of that.

 

If anyone out there is so generous with their time, I would really appreicate a "Dummies Guide"
