Lolo Wolf 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Rick.... Which Mini? Ive used two different ones ....Nuvico and TBT (OEM) Purchased from Rainbow, other dealers put their Brand on them. I placed some info on them under forum question "smallest Mini PTZ"
RickA 0 Posted November 10, 2007 Yes I read that , no there is no label on this one, made in Korea, we are testing this to see if we want to carry it, it is just a mini endless ptz tamper proof dome, has nice control 10x optical zoom and a 10x digital zoom, running it with baluns and cat5 right now. RickA 0 Posted November 14, 2007 Anyone interested, finally got around to programming this camera, got it set up to tour and letting it run to see if the motors will stand up. still have not found any numbers on the camera or box, but it seems to be a very nice mini ptz. RickA 0 Posted November 20, 2007 PTZ has been running for almost a week now and no problems yet, still looks good.
RickA 0 Posted December 3, 2007 Almost three weeks and still performing good, getting tired of looking at warehouse though.
RickA 0 Posted January 28, 2008 Finally going to put this camera outside to see how it stands up to weather conditions, has been doing well with tours on the inside.
RickA 0 Posted January 31, 2008 The seals on this camera appear to be very good, set it up outside in time for the storm that came through this area and stayed dry. Temp variations so far have dropped below manufacturers specs and still working good.
rory 0 Posted January 31, 2008 Rick, it almost appears you are alone in this thread So I thought I would make you feel like you were not.
RickA 0 Posted January 31, 2008 Thanks Rory, just trying to keep a good record on this camera, and see if it helps others.
RickA 0 Posted February 5, 2008 This camera has been outside for a while now and running a pattern. Hard to believe that according to the specs this camera is only good to 0 C~40 C with no heater blower and the night time temps have been below 32 F.
Lolo Wolf 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Rick, glad to read your mini is doing well, the Korean Minis (TBT/Rainbow) Ive been using have performed well too, temps down to -28 lower with wind chill, no fogging, no malfunction and survived 2 major power outs... I am using them now as my primary mini for installs now, did not have good luck with the new Nuvico, sticking with the TBT.
RickA 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Just looked at the images on the mini and it is still performing even after the storms last night, this looks like a good one, hope we can get it with some type of heater/blower unit, but other than that is a good unit. RickA 0 Posted February 15, 2008 Cannot believe this camera, after the snow we have gotten and the cold temps this one is still working, even took it off its pattern last night to see if it would stop, started right back up this morning with no problem. It is only rated to 0 C yet with the temps dropping to the teens it still works, and no heater in it at that.

Seems more like a semi indoor/outdoor dome(stadions etc..) or strong in doordome. Edit: In the specs exel i ford that it has a heater! Power Consumption: 24V AC 650mA, 16W MAX (1.0A, 24W with Heater) 12V DC 750mA, 10W MAX (1.3A, 16W MAX with Heater) I am gonna look if i can find a second hands one on ebay or if its not to pricie buy one new. That i can test it here in the Netherlands, very wet and very bad weather all the time
