djmacc 0 Posted November 12, 2007 I have 6 loading docks where I need to mount cameras on the side jamb of the overhead door so the interior of the 40 foot enclosed trailers can be viewed while loading. The camera needs to be a dome type because a pedestal mount camera could be tampered with by the loaders. What camera\dome combination you guys recommend in the under 400.00 each dollar range? The camera needs to be a dome type because a pedestal mount camera could be tampered with by the loaders. What camera\dome combination you guys recommend in the under 400.00 each dollar range? There are quite of few to choose from... First off, will these cameras be placed right at the docks or will they reside inside of the warehouse? This will determine set of MiniDome cameras that can do the job... Will the loading and unloading be taking place both day and night time? How are the lighting conditions in both cases (day and nigh)? Will you be watching inside of the trailers or just what gets loaded or unloaded at the opening level? Some of the answers to the above questions can provide some solid solution...

BOTH DAY AND NIGHT How are the lighting conditions in both cases (day and nigh)? Will you be watching inside of the trailers or just what gets loaded or unloaded at the opening level?
