Need Help Configuring my DVR

Hi, first time visiting this site, I hope somone can help.

 

I am trying to configure a Samsung DVR model #SHR8020 for remote viewing.

 

I have a linksys router model #WRT54G.

 

I have read many other forums and this seems to be the best.

 

Some step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

 

I know I have to do port fowarding but just not sure about much else.

 

Please remember that I am totaly new to this.

basically you need to setup port forwarding. You will need to find out the ports used by the DVR first, then go from there. In the Linksys router the section is called Application and Gaming.
