radman 0 Posted November 26, 2007 Hi I am still learning I have just fitted a Sanyo VCC-4705P with a TG2Z3524AFCS-2 lens how much grain should I expect in street light conditions http://www.sanyosecurity.com/pdf/cctv/cat/ccd(pal)/vcc4790p_4795p.pdf and what should be the best settings to use on the camera also what type of IR Illuminator would cover an area 30' by 50'? thanks for any help. zmxtech 0 Posted November 26, 2007 just been playing with some sanyo's DN cams and they will see fine with streetlight lighting there will be noise but its not too bad. IR illumination will make a big difference. ! Setting are a trial and error /experience thing ..... Having no IR illumination the motion detection software I have was not working well, IR lighting fixed it. Go for a wide angle IR flood, the sanyo DN cams are very IR sensitive, two angles if you have the $$$ Z Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
