I am wondering if anyone knows the port that the camera runs on, also can anyone tell me what port shoud i forward and what is trigger port. I am able to get the screen for a quick sec and i get this Error Message " WEbDvr Connection failed") Can anyone help me please. Brgds
sinbad 0 Posted November 30, 2007 port triggering is to allow back connection if you initiated first the connection. since you say you can see the cam for a few sec before the message maybe try to forward the port you have now triggered.
julieboothe 0 Posted December 3, 2007 I didn't set up port triggering. I was merewly enquiring what it is. your explantion was too vague. anyhow I did forward the port but still my DVR card is not working remotely; however i went back into the router and enable remote management and i was able to enter the local LAN orivate IP Address and i was able to see he webcam. But when I enter the Public IP Address it doesn't work. HELP ME PLEASE.
