scorpion 0 Posted December 10, 2007 That one has been added very recently. I did not even catch that one.
scorpion 0 Posted December 10, 2007 It is the same as Sec Cam Direct's DVR4007. The Comet 4C manual is identical in operation as the 4007. It reminds me of the old AVC 774 Mercury.
rory 0 Posted December 10, 2007 Its a great little DVR by the way, I just tested it briefly yesterday. If you want the ultimate budget DVR, and dont need LAN, it seems to work great, and it is really small. Also has USB backup and a CD for PC playback of the video, have not tested that yet. If they want 8 cameras and are broke, heck sell them 2 of them and just put one on top of the other, they are that tiny! Anyway, wanted to see if the manufacturer might have the option of an IR Remote for them, as it seems to have the IR LED. Live video quality on the Eclipse VGA converter to an LCD, is even better on this one than the Avtech unit (have both hooked up, just swapped them around to test). securitysys 0 Posted January 11, 2008 I looked through a huge supplier list couldn't find this one. Are you guys sure Arm Carrys it? If they do then I can check through their normal suppliers and one of them should have it.
loop 0 Posted January 12, 2008 http://www.fuho.com.tw/PRODUCT/DVR/new-dvr.htm Rory, those Vineyard based dvr's motion detection based recording is not reliable, so make sure you only set them to costant recording.
scorpion 0 Posted January 13, 2008 Good Job Loop finding the manufacture!
securitysys 0 Posted January 13, 2008 Good job . Rory I tried this DVR out and for the price it's excellent: http://www.alibaba.com/catalog/11995430/Stand_Alone_DVR.html No Cd, but backs up to USB. Has LAN, recording quality is actually decent, and you can use a mouse instead of a remote. Just throught I would pass it along.. Good Night everyone one!
