mburris 0 Posted December 14, 2007 I will be building DVR systems for one of my clients who has a few gas stations. The number one requirement is that the POS data (information from the RUBY register) is captured and stored in a data base. This data base needs to be viewable remotly and have point, click, and view video goodness. Having some sort of Exception based reporting would be cool too. These stores already have analog cameras with BNC connectors so i need a card that will interface with those. There may be 2 registers per store in some stores. Any suggestions would be helpful
501 0 Posted December 15, 2007 Geo's Data Capture and software is second to none. if it works with your Ruby, look no further.
sajaan458 0 Posted December 15, 2007 I don't know about the Geovision, but I was able to get AVerMedia DVR with POS capture box to work with Ruby Verifone Gas Station POS register. So far I have it installed in about 10 Gas station. Out the box it didn't work but my vendor was able to get me couple of adaptor which were less then $10 to go with AVerMedia DVR & POS Capture box which was well worth the investment.
