DVR MAN

Hello!

Recommended Posts

I have installed alarm systems, and two surveillance systems. I am totally addicted to tinkering with covert systems. There is nothing that satisfies me more than being able to out smart a crook. You guys have some good advice!

Thanks!

Ron

Now for the fun part!

Connecting the alarm system, and the surveillance system together to tighten the layers of security!

Do you do video verification?

It appears the police around our parts treat burglar alarm calls in the same catagory as "barking dog call".

Verified alarm has really changed the industry, and has allevated the the respoce level!

What has been your experience?

Hi!

Thanks for the question.

In the last twenty five years, my alarm has triggered twice. The police responded both times. The first time we were on vacation, they found no evidence of intrusion. The second time we were on vacation, and it was our dog sitter that tripped the alarm. Ever try phoning the desk Sergent from the shore and telling him that the dog sitter is OK? Anyway, my new dvr has 16 N/O N/C capability. I have not tied it to the basic alarm, and may not. The dvr can email any incident when the dvr event is triggered, and the time stamp will verify with the police report via their case #.

Welcome to the forum ..

Scorpion .. down here you can call the cops and they wont come half the time .. best way to get them here is to tell them someone got drugs or guns, and they will be right over promptly.

My alarm has triggered a few times in the past couple years .. mostly from burglars .. but then I dont have it tied into a CMS .. I can call the police just as quick as they can ..

I have a solenoid with a chocolate glaze donut attached. When the alarm is triggered, the outside solenoid waves the donut back, and forth, and some how the police dept shows up immeaditly! Sometimes more than several patrol cars respond!

Now what to do about my ant problem!

Ha Ha I love the idea of the dougnut cop lure.

Makes my idea ,of a motor mounted AK47 connected to motion sensors seem a bit silly now. Although it could cure your ant problem if the bodies were disposed of quickly.

The donut could work!! Why not anyone think of intergrating them with surveillance systems before.
