Dodge 0 Posted December 29, 2007 How do you wire up seperate infra red lighting and what controls them to come on at night?Also i have a camera mounted on the corner of the house pointed up the drive can i mount the infra red on the other corner of the house they will be about 16feet apart ? VST_Man 1 Posted December 30, 2007 IR devices usually have a sensor on them that do the dusk to dawn thing. 16ft.? I suggest you test it before you mount it. use a long enough cable to move the IR into different positions and allow the DVR to record continious so you can go back and review the best spot for it.
