501 0 Posted January 2, 2008 I think the problem is you are trying to see too much with one camera. If you want the face of the customer and the till, move the camera closer and/or switch to a narrower lens like a 6mm or 8 mm. I think this would help alot. btrox 0 Posted January 4, 2008 I would recommend the ASC-540D256 color dome camera 540 line relolution 2.5 - 6mm lens OSB programming to compensate for any ambient light situations
Securitymaster 0 Posted January 4, 2008 I would go with a Wide Dynamic camera, looking at the front door and getting hit by the sun makes the people look darker than the rest of the image. Look the Ganz: http://www.cbcamerica.com/cctvprod/ganz/cams/csmount/csm_pdf/ZC-YHW701N%20CS906.pdf Then I would pair it with a Computar lens, model: TG3Z3510FCS http://www.cbcamerica.com/cctvprod/computar/vari/vari_pdf/TG3Z3510FCS.pdf
CCTV_Suppliers 0 Posted January 4, 2008 Better option will be a minidome from Sanyo with WD already built in, with AI lens going between 2.6mm - 6.0mm, vandal proof and is designed for this type of application... It is the Sanyo model number VDC-C1574VA and here is the url: http://www.sanyosecurity.com/pdf/cctv/cat/ccd(ntsc)/vdcw1594va.pdf Works great and comes with 3 years warranty...
