Is your power supply large enough for the extra load when IR is in use? 2. You maybe have a adjustment to your signal strength, and when it is a bit to high or low it can make the signal walk in and out! JD
Deluxecctv.com 0 Posted January 30, 2008 First thing I would check is your power supply. When using IR cameras, your draw on amps are higher at night due to the IR kicking in. If you don't have a big enough power supply to handle the load, it can fade the picture in and out and eventually burn up your power supply. I recommend a 1.5amp power supply depending on the camera and how many LED'S you have. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. RickA 0 Posted January 30, 2008 IR? Am I missing something? Check iris settings, may have to adjust the iris pot in the evening or with a #5 welding lens to correct.
Deluxecctv.com 0 Posted January 30, 2008 Whoops! I was looking at another forum and replying to this one. Sorry about that. Well, I would say the power supply or possibly the connection to the auto iris.
