dangerranger02 0 Posted January 18, 2008 I am new to DVR based CCTV and I had a few questions in regards to the GV Keyboard. I understand that each DVR needs a GV-Net card to interface. My question is; Do I need to have a GV-Net card in the CMS server for any reason or is it only used for the GV DVR's? We are looking to setup two 42" LCD monitors with dual GV-Keyboards. Thanks ! andy_geovision 0 Posted February 14, 2008 (edited) Dear dangerranger02, Gv Keyboard is designed for DVR not for CMS server. It is used to program and operate GV system through RS485 configuration. In order to use GV keyboard, you will need GV NET card card or GV Com box to connect to the DVR. Any questions, please let me know... Sincerely, Andy Chen Technical Support GeoVision.
