jeromephone 6 Posted January 27, 2008 I am havieng some choppy video problems on playback with some 1480 units If I go to 512 video memory up from 256 could that help. Likewise I am thingking about going to 2 gig ram from one. I guess what I am asking are these up grades going to help performance or am I just putting in more memory that the system won't address anyway.?
rory 0 Posted January 27, 2008 Video card wont help the recording. Need more RAM and CPU, Geo uses alot of RAM. Also bad hard drive will cause that, make sure you can hardly hear the drive, if it is loud and its not a Raptor or SCSI then do some tests on the drive/replace. sinbad 0 Posted February 20, 2008 put some more juice to it. running GV with 256mb is a shame give it 2 gig each you'll love the difference.
