rapid 0 Posted February 9, 2008 Yes, the WV-CS854B can understand other manufacture protocols like American Dynamics Manchester code and PELCO P protocol however not sure if PELCO D would work. PELCO D may work but may inadvertently affect the operation of some of the camera features. Configuring of the dipswitches is required. I've interfaced AD controllers with these domes and Panasonic provided me with the correct dipswitch settings. You have to ask them as they would prefer you use their equipment! The CU-161 controller is the preferred controller. Interestingly enough this controller can be used for all Panasonic cameras to remotely program the internal settings of their cameras!
