paulinchen 0 Posted February 11, 2008 Hello, I have a question to the maximal frame rate in one include in the frame-mode (720x576 PAL) : - In the AVC 761 stands the option "TOTALLY IPS SHARE" always on FIX, therefore can always only with 25 / 4 channels = 6.25 fps received. - In the AVC 782 can i set the option on "GROUP", can one with 25 / 1 reception = 25 fps (only 1 camera is recorded). Is this so correct or can receive also with the AVC 761, 1 camera with 25fps, if i deactivates the rec-option in the camera-menu by the other 3 cameras? Thank you very much and sorry for my bad English. paulinchen
scorpion 0 Posted February 11, 2008 You may want to decide between the AVC 782, and the AVC 781 instead. The 761 is a Mjpeg at Frame. See page 2 of the user manual. AVC 761, and the CPD 561 is a model 4 MJPEG at frame, MPEG4 at CIF, 1 audio in, with IR. http://211.75.84.102/web/manu/761.pdf AVC 782A, and CPD 502 is a model 1 MPEG4 at frame. Model 1 is the only one with the CD back up, and it has 2 audio inputs. Model 5 does not have the power/data bus, but it has 2 audio inputs, CD back up, and it has IR. http://211.75.84.102/web/manu/782.pdf AVC 781, and CPD 501 is a model 2 MPEG4 at frame, MPEG4 at CIF, 2 audio in, no IR. http://211.75.84.102/web/manu/781.pdf
scorpion 0 Posted February 11, 2008 (edited) With only one camera connected to the AVC 761 DVR, and the other "channels" deactivated that should give you what you want. Just remember that you are recording in MJPEG at frame, and not MPEG4 at frame with the AVC 761. If you need a manual you can download one from the link in my sig. paulinchen 0 Posted February 11, 2008 I would like to connect 2 cameras, but record only 1 Camera in the frame-mode. The 2nd camera should show only the live-picture. Are you certain that I can reach with the AVC761 then 25 fps? Thank you very much. paulinchen

paulinchen 0 Posted February 11, 2008 Just remember that you are recording in MJPEG at frame, and not MPEG4 at frame with the AVC 761. Is the quality between MJPEG and MPEG4 different or only the file size? paulinchen
paulinchen 0 Posted February 11, 2008 >> would like to connect 2 cameras, but record only 1 Camera in the frame-mode. The 2nd camera should show only the live-picture.<< This should work. Does it work however then also with 25 fps in the AVC 761 or only in the AVC782? paulinchen
scorpion 0 Posted February 11, 2008 MPEG4 will look better. If file size is important due to Hard drive space then MJPEG would be a better choice. Which DVR do you own??

scorpion 0 Posted February 11, 2008 >>Does it work however then also with 25 fps in the AVC 761 or only in the AVC782? << It should record 720 × 576 pixels with 25 fps with the AVC 761 with cams 2, 3, 4 deactivated.
scorpion 0 Posted February 11, 2008 Do you need CD backup?? If yes then buy the 782. If no then buy the 781, although you mention the 761.
paulinchen 0 Posted February 11, 2008 Do you need CD backup?? If yes then buy the 782. If no then buy the 781, although you mention the 761. I require a device in black (my wife ), the AVC 781 is only gray. The AVC782 or the AVC761... paulinchen
scorpion 0 Posted February 11, 2008 Black it is! I would decided on the 782 so that you have a disk. If you give a disk to someone to review video footage then they will have to install the viewer on to their computer to see it.
